It may seem we have little to offer in the winter months. However the Club is extremely active, splitting and cutting wood for delivery to those in need.

Tree planting projects continue as does the wood splitting, which is used to give to those in need. The Club also raffles a trailer load of wood each week during winter to raise funds to support those who are less fortunate. Since the Club has taken on our 'wood project', we have split, cut, donated and/or raffled in excess of 100 tonnes of wood.
The first dinner meeting of each month is our 'hamper night' where members bring something non-perishable to donate to the less fortunate.

Bright Lions members are always on the look out for 'hands on working' projects and is open to members of the community to make suggestions, just email one of the Lions listed above.

The Club also has a strong Ladies Auxiliary. The Ladies Auxiliary is very active with their own projects, but when required support the Lions on all major projects.
